Outpost VFX's features generate awards interest

Outpost VFX are incredibly proud of all our work, but we’re especially excited by the critical acclaim and industry recognition that two of our films have been getting in recent weeks.

With a BAFTA win for Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer, and three British Independent Film Awards for Best Screenplay and Best Debut Director for Babak Anvari and Best Supporting Actress for Avin Manshadi; Outpost VFX are extremely proud to have worked with Babak & Wigwam Films on Under the Shadow. Furthermore, Outpost VFX’s CEO Duncan McWilliam was an Executive Producer on the project so the BAFTA win is even more exciting for all of us in the Studio.

In addition, Tom Ford’s Nocturnal Animal's won the Grand Jury Prize at Venice, took the box office by storm after its official release in October and was nominated for 9 BAFTAs in various categories and one Academy Award for Michael Shannon as Best Supporting Actor.

That’s a total of 18 awards nominations and 4 wins so far across both films. We’re wishing Tom Ford the very best of luck at the Academy Awards.
