We’re helping parents and carers with Film London’s Return to Work programme
We’re pleased to have partnered with Film London to help new entrants, mid-level professionals and returners enter, stay in and return to the industry.
Funded by the Screen Skills HETV Levy Fund, the scheme is particularly aimed at parents and carers to help them get back into the post and VFX sectors for high-end TV.
Our first returner is digital matte painter Hong Dam, who has previously worked as a digital artist on major feature films including: Babe: Pig in the City, 10,000 BC and Gladiator.
Hong took a career break to bring up her two daughters in Brighton. With the help of Film London’s Return to Work Scheme, she will get a paid ‘returnship’ at Outpost VFX as well as invaluable professional advice from our experienced artists and leads.
The scheme will also provide her with training workshops and mentoring sessions to help rekindle her industry skills and eventually assist her in returning to work.
