Rupert Grint stars in Sony TV's adaptation of Guy Ritchie's Snatch for its streaming service, Crackle
We worked on around 100 shots for this re-imagining of Guy Ritchie's cult classic, Snatch, compositing moving backgrounds into a static greenscreen car shoot.
Starring Rupert Grint (of Harry Potter fame), Luke Pasqualino and Dougray Scott, Snatch features a group of young hustlers who stumble upon a truck filled with gold bullion and soon find themselves staring down the barrel of a London orgnaised crime syndicate.
Harnessing the power of Maya and Nuke, we created CG reflections to further bed in the CG environments and seamlessly comped background plates into a greenscreen sequence, as two of the main characters drive down a busy road at night.
The 10-part first series aired on Sony's subscription video service, Crackle, in 2017.
